Beauty Tips

KEEP YOUR HAIR SHINY & HEALTHY

COLOR TREATMENT

A FLAWLESS MAKEUP APPLICATION

Derived from the fruit of the coconut tree, this is one tropical treat is not only tasty, but has actually been used to condition hair for thousands of years, effecting the following:

  • MOISTURISES & CONDITIONS

  • NOURISHES & PROTECTS

  • REPAIRS AND REVITALISES

  • STRENGHTENS & SMOOTHES

  • BOOSTS VOLUME & SHINE

  • PREVENTS DANDRUFF

For dry, damaged, and dull hair I recommend a coconut oil treatment at least once a week. Apply to dry hair, leave overnight, and wash out by shampooing TWICE and conditioning as usual. Your hair will instantly be full of shine and moisture!

Following these tips between salon visits will help protect your hair color and keep it looking fresh for as long as possible:

  • Sun exposure and mineral deposits in water can make hair brassy. To maintain your hue at home, shampoo less often and wear a hat to prevent fading.

  • When you do shampoo, avoid using clarifying or deep-cleansing formulas as well as dandruff shampoos because these will strip your color

  • Heat opens and roughens up your hair cuticle which leads to color fading. Using cooler water on your hair and avoiding a lot of heat styling will prolong salon hair color

  • Using leave-in conditioner will act like a sealant, keeping in the moisture that makes hair vibrant

I have not found ANYTHING that compares to the finish that this tool gives my foundation! Created to leave you with a professional finish and a flawless complexion, The Beauty Blender sponge is great for all skin types. You can find these at www.beautyblender.net, however I have found other beauty blenders of equal quality at Sephora, MAC, and on Amazon.com.

Before each use, I completely saturate my beauty blender in water, then squeeze out the excess water in a towel. This leaves the blender slightly damp.

Next I apply my liquid foundation to my face and pat it in with my beauty blender. (You can use this with cream foundation, powder, and even cream blush as well).

Lastly, I use a rolling motion with the beauty blender all over my face. This leaves a perfect and natural finish every time!
